Re: free 11'' stripped raphael around N. Suburbs Chicago
I wish I lived closer I would take that stubby raphael cat. I have a 240 tank that would be perfect for it. One of the residents is a leaf fish with a deformed gill plate. Someone out there is going to be lucky to get that cat, they have a lot of personality when not hiding in a den. Thanks! Glad t...

Re: same areas collection question
Due to zlich feedback from forum members I'll be taking the plunge and combining both and doing a blackwater biotope tank hopefully I am able to collect enough OAK leaves to last me through the winter. L183s and the Jaguar cats have now been combined in the same holding tanks. I have not yet seen an...

Probably is the reason why I yet have not spawned them lol in the mixed community tank.
The L066s are going to their new owner tomorrow! I believe the person is a member here.

Re: Frogs w. Black-eyes?
About the only thing I can say is I have never had two species of pleco spawn in the same tank. I'm not sure for the reason but that has been my experience. I have no problems keeping two groups of species in the same tank but only one species ever spawns for me. L134, L270( or whatever hypans thos...

Re: doubts on L270 reverse trio I have
So we all are in agreement they're not L270s the two smaller ones I did not get them from John (snookn21) I do get a lot of catfish from him only the L183 and the jaguar catfish I decided to keep. I got the small pair before the L129s came flooding into market though. They're too small to be L129s s...

doubts on L270 reverse trio I have
As most of you already know I'm trying to get rid of some hypans species as I downsize the number of tanks I have to avoid crossbreeding/conflicts. At a recent swap meet, one of the "customers" made a passing remark that the L270s I had was not the L270s but a lower xingu species. What? No...

same areas collection question
Is the ancistrus dolichopterus and liosomodoras oncinus found in the same areas in the waters of rio negro? I read from somones blog that they're typically found in blackwater conditions with no current. My aim if they're both found in the same areas to attempt keeping both in the same tank for the ...

Re: true P. Costatus?
Yes head to end of tail is at 11''
I also have P. Armatulus at 11'' two different looking cats when next to each other.
I am keeping them in a stock tub so tank pictures isn't possible unless I manage to get a 100-125g tank for them which is looking dim at this time

I just pulled in my 5 fellas, 3 adults and 2 juvies.
