Hi Jools. Thanks for responding. So let me get this straight. If my conversion is correct you're talking about a Cory species that would sell for $70? Is that about the most expensive Cory you can name or are there others that sell for more? Thanks. - Frank

Not to seem like an uneducated American cretin - but just what is £1.00 equal to these days in U.S. $ and what is AU $1 in U.S. $? Out of my 2 dozen about 4 have reached breeding size and they are going to be one of my pet projects in the new year. My albinos are still a bit small but I'm feeding t...

Hi. I don't know if "rare" is the right word, but they certainly command a premium. They are generally available. I have a couple dozen regular and a dozen albino. They generally go for about $12 in my area. - Frank
P.S. They are my FAVORITE cory.

Eggs w/ Fungus Hatched
I had a batch of about 200 eggs in a tank. Put in a few drops of Meth Blue. The eggs became completely covered in fugus. Was really busy and just let the tank sit. The eggs then became encased in a clear gelatinous glob of goo. All of them. Not pretty. When I finally got around to cleaning the tank ...

Hi Coryman, All of my tanks are bare bottomed, and painted flat black. The fry that are now over a week old are about 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch. Cory Fry Changed Color
Greetings, All. A few weeks back I had about 150 albino corys hatch. They are doing great. I distinctly remember knowing that they were albinos from the moment they hatched by their "goldish" hue. A few days ago I had another hatch of about 150 but these were absolutely, positutely - gray....

Hi. If I can stick my two cents in. I'm a member of another forum where people constantly post the "What's wrong with my fish?" question. The next thing you get are 5 or 6 people asking about "temp, water parameters, size of tank, what they feed, etc." and it's a waste of time an...

Cory Hatching - Fact IS Stranger Than Fiction
Greetings All, I thought I would relate a very interesting occurrence that just took place. I have close to 200 - 10 G. tanks of fancy guppies. I generally keep 6 to 10 Corys per tank, depending on their size. For years I've watched them lay eggs and then watched the guppies and the Corys themselves...

Substrate
I keep no gravel or plants in any of my tanks. Up until now I have only kept common albino corys (6 to 8 per 10 G tank) and they breed like rabbits keeping a constant supply of eggs on the glass which the guppies find quite delectable. All I do is the occassional 10 - 15 degree colder 25% water chan...
