Having only two aggressive fish in the tank with the bristlenoses I hope to leave them alone. My flagfish don't bother other fry.

Well so much for the quarantine tank. I left yesterday to visit my sister in the hosp. and when I got home About 7pm the tank was milky and all the fish in Q were dead. I have given it a smorgasbord of Blanched green peas,algae, wafers shrimp pellets and cucumber .
The little fellow is checking out the tank today and I think it is eating shrimp pellets tummy still flat but it is more active.

It has been to dry here for dandylions to sprout .It started to rain on monday so they should be up in a couple of days

Newly acquired L01/L22. This fish is in it;s second day in the quarantine tank and I have yet to see it feed. Offered foods include cucumber,algae wafers and frozen brine shrimp. I have not found dandy lions growing here this year it's been very dry .The rain started this week so I will try it soon .I hope it's not toxic.

The forth of July is a holiday in the U.S. In the southern U.S. we celebrate with a cook out and fire works. My personal favaorite is a fish fry.I would chose Ictalurs punctatus and grits with hush puppys and a cold Ice tea.

I have found that by draining the tank slowly the fish don't stress to bad and while the water level is low they are easy to capture.I will also keep some of the drained water to start the new tank, so the fish kinda feels at home in the new location sorta like having your own pillow in a motel

The new place looks real nice .Lots of places for ponds and fishing holes.
I bet that when the rainy season finaly comes you can grow some wopper mosquitos
