Re: Newly Adopted & Ill Eupterus
I never did anything for planaria cept reduce feedings or amounts at feedings and upped gravel vacs and water changes. So Nui isn't eating or is just eating one thing? I feed mine every other day, but they are big. Mine get a rotation of the following: defrosted frozen Hikari (shrimp, tubifex, blood...

Re: Newly Adopted & Ill Eupterus
that teeny weeny worm might be planaria,if it is it's harmless, comes when there is a bit too much food in tank I think. Extra vacs and less feeding gets rid of them, if it's planaria, you can google it and see if it matches what you have. As far as the sprinkles go on his whisks, maybe you just have...

Re: Newly Adopted & Ill Eupterus
I thought Andy said he had coral but with my new pH levels can't use it. I have all regular sand in my tanks, freshwater tank sand. Coral is for Saltwater tanks, altho I do use some little amounts here and there of crushed coral (very fine like sand) to add to my tanks on occasion if I have a ph is...

she looks fine to me. It'll be hard to tell age for me. How long is she? mine are 4 yrs old i think and about 5 inches maybe. But yours was in a too small tank for a long time, well actually how long do you think they were in that tank? can we get another pic of her? maybe full body length, side vie...

If I compare him to others like Andy's I get a little worried. Andys've got love handles... They jiggle when they swim... Nah I'm just teasing they're so big though and so healthily well fed. So very beautiful. in all honestly, my are a pic big.. i try to feed every other day, but wonder if i shoul...

Re: FYI Marineland Stealth Pro heater withdrawl
the whole heater issues really make me want to go colder fish only. lol.. very stressful to worry re heaters. Yeah the stealths are also particular, you definitely have to watch it for many many hours, have the day off to make sure what temp it is. I 've had them set at 75 to do 78 and at 80 to do 7...

Re: Pygmy cories hiding
my corys are out more on darker sand then lighter
sand, out more the more of them there are together, out more the more cover there is, don't forget top cover also, whether real or fake floating plants.
just my personal experience.
but i do not have pygmies.

Re: Newly Adopted & Ill Eupterus
on the tank being in the direct sunlite, it depends how warm it gets where you are, I would worry re the water heating up too much. secondary would be the poss abundance of algae. I have screen lids for my tanks in the summer and overhead fans and we keep the a/c on 78. it gets hot here. and mine ar...
