I prefer the Dianema Longibarbis. This fish just has character! If you have a group of Cories, they will "hang out" with them. It seems odd, but they do. D. Longibarbis is slightly smaller and you have more options with them (15-20-40 gallons ++++)

I don't think that there are any catfish suitable for a tank your size. Smaller doradids might do it, but there is no guarantee that they will eat the snails. See this post . Can you be more specific about the doradids species? I'll check the list here. If there are other sources that may assist me...
