Very envious of your new arrivals! How are they looking whilst seemingly not feeding?
Have you tried live river shrimp? No doubt the rainbows were an easy snack for one or more!

Re: Rare/Unusual Cats For Sale

Hi James Sorry, I didn'ty set this to provide notifications and not been online for a bit, but regardless, I don't get over your way so probably wouldn't have worked out anyway. So the T.musaica have now gone, along with the T.gyrina and eel-tails to a local fish-keeping friend. Everything else went...

Rare/Unusual Cats For Sale

Due to a change in my lifestyle, I’m not at home as much as I’d like and don’t have time to care for my tank and it’s inhabitants so feel it’s better to pass them on to others who have time to care for them. I’ll be looking to sell the tank once all the livestock has been sold. To that end, I’m look...

Jools wrote: 18 Jun 2019, 22:26 I've made a few changes of late and, for a while, this was an issue. It's fixed now but it's to do with cookies and so can stay screwed up for a while or until you clear out cookies.

How is it now?

Jools

Yes, exactly, very similar to a livebearer. If they look 'normal' then that would imply you have all females.

Re: Add to My Cats not working

Ah, OK. I have in the past kept them but have not done for a few years (so the record has an end date). I would expect it to allow new populations when not keeping, but agree the existing population should be edited when adding/removing.
Thanks

Add to My Cats not working

I thought it was an issue when i tried on my mobile yesterday (Safari) buthaving just tried in Chrome, the + My Cats is black flat text and doesn't do anything when you try and click. Is there any other way to add cats? Fish in question was Tatia gyrina.
Thanks

Re: Are banjo catfish picky eaters? Also a food question

I keep several species of banjo, the common ones I see the least, and never see feeding but have had them all for several years, so they appear to find sufficient food at night when they come out. They are bettr kept with a sand substrate where possible.

First one looks like either Sturisoma or Sturisomatichthys, but unusual colouring - never seen one so dark!
Second one looks like a juvenile ?

Re: Ageneiosus Marmoratus not feeding.

I wouldn't risk it in with Corydoras as it may end up getting one stuck in it's throat and either starving or causing internal damage. And i woul;dn't risk it with anything small enough for it to eat, such as the Rosy barb it has already taken. Over time the number of fish will dwindle, and you will...

OK, so purchased three Tatia musaica today, to add to my existing group of two, but for some reason, the + My Cats link on the species page is black, unlike on a species I don't own, purple.
