just try doing a 50% water change while you swish around the whole tank so you can get as much bacteria you can get

No parents dont eat their own fry. sometimes you see fry hanging on the sides of the parents :D i do have some floating breeding traps that my dad used years ago w...

Re: U Series filter? or Multifunctional Bio-Filter?

the reason i like these filters because they work like canisters except inside the tank and the have more intake holes than other filters allowing for more filtration

Re: U Series filter? or Multifunctional Bio-Filter?

the problem with the canister sponges is that they dont catch the debris so i have to decieded to add wool into the filter-catchs most of the debris so i clean the filter once a week because of it.

Sounds like a job for a pond owner in Florida or Thailand. thats what i was thinking maybe a really large pond of 2000 litres plus but think about the filtration needed!!! and i saw one of these in australia being sold for $6500 nearly the 5 digit mark :-X if you do manage to get a female let alone...

Re: Mixing L-104 and L-204

Hey I will set up a 540 liter tank, and I wondered whether L-104 to go along with L-204? Will they crossbread with each other? L-104 has already produced fry. I know that L-204 is difficult to get fry on. not a total expert on these situations but 540 litre tank is really big and i think it wouldn'...

i found that "good paremters" differ from person to person.

i had a pleco suffering pop eye. i did every 2 day water changes of 35% and adding a half dose of aquasonic bactonex (actually smaller because your only suppose to use full dose every 5 days.)
