i'm actually really shocked! that algae was black beard! because the other type of blacke beard i esperienced was very long like hair but this is actually black beard!

oh ok and i realised that they dont eat this type of algae i really dont know the nameis but it is kind of bushi and it liiks like small clumps of sea weed or grass what type of algae is this? i dont think its black beard though

im wiondering what types of algae cf. cirrhosus' will eat, because i noticed there is this bushy type of algae growing in my tank and i highly doubt it is black beard algae

mate unlucky about the bushy nose. personely i think any loricadspecies thrive mor on a wider tank because they are bottom dwellers

ok so what kind of food or specific vege's do u recommend???
i usually feed them "new life spectrum stable wafers" or specturm thera pellets
and of course the occasional zucchini, carrot and broccoli.

To chip in - if they were reasonable money, they are probaly commons - aka A. cf. cirrhosus - others that are positively identified tend to be more expensive.
