Good news everybody!
sorry for the Futurama reference but it had to be done :d Any way I finally got my plecos (first time in a long time) and I'm very excited! I purchased three plecos (ended up with a fourth freebie of the same species because the breeder was awesome) L306 and they have all settled in nicely. I wasn't...

Wood in the works...
In my 55 gallon I have two large pieces of mopani and recently purchased two medium pieces of Malaysian driftwood. My question is will the plecos just chew on the Malaysian and nibble on the mopani or will they not differentiate and hurt them selves try to make sawdust of the mopani.
Thanks)
Thanks)

Re: "Mopani wood"
Thanks very much! I had another question actually, as a freediver I spend lots of time at the bottom of my lake and see lots of drift wood at the bottom that has clearly been there for many years. just wondering if I cooked this first would it be ok for plecos? mostly maple and birch I believe.

Re: Looking for a cory with a distinct pattern...
Those look spectacular but I'd be surprised if there where any in canada
On that note is this fish really known as C.pulcher? I really like the look and size of this species but I cant find info on them here.
this video shows the fish... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNkaMN83pM4

Fluval plant and shrimp Stratum?
Hi everyone I have an empty 55 gallon tank and I am trying to pick out a suitable substrate for a cory (species undecided open to suggestions, looking for something bold and striped). The tank is going to be well planted and i was looking at a substrate that would be beneficial for plants. I came ac...

Re: pleco project?
Hmm maybe i'll scratch the rams and instead have 2 more corydoras sp and more room for plecos and aloow for some colder water? I would like a less mainstream cory than C.sterbai.

Hello everybody My name is james I am renewing my aquaria passion by purchasing a 55 gallon tank. I have calculated (using the inch of fish per gallon method) that I have filled 40 gallons of the tank with peaceful fish. These fish include 10 neon tetras, 5 lemon tetras, 3 blue ram cichlids, 7 marbl...
