Re: 31: Broken AquaticRepublic and Fishbase links on CLOGs
I can link to AR locally on my test-setup (actually, I can't because it links to public AR, but if I edit the link so that it points to my local AR, then the page displays eventually - I think there's a problem loading pictures on my local AR, but that is a different problem). Jools: What Rev have y...

A field (tagname) had changed name (now url_param). Should work once Jools has uploaded change R1522.

Re: 31: Broken AquaticRepublic and Fishbase links on CLOGs
Fishbase links appear to work (note that it's not our fault that Fishbase sometimes messes up the page-request and posts a bunch of code instead of a page that looks good - complain to Fishbase on that one). AquaticRepublic links are broken on the page that it lands on - I think one of my recent fix...

Re: 31: Will species search results be displayed in real time?
Ok, fix in R1518.
As usual, fix is currently not working on the site, this will happen when Jools uploads the changes to the site [and hopefully he will check that what I've changed makes sense FIRST, meaning he can't just click a couple of buttons somewhere].

Re: Broken links in Glossary
I will have a look at these later, but I think we have a few programming issues from the upgrade to deal with first.
Please be sure that these sort of things are very good to have reported, because they are difficult to spot, so we will fix them.

Hopefully this weekend, I will be able to re-build the test-server that I have at home, and make some real progress on this.

Re: A few Cat-eLog updates on max size
I would do this if I could. But the "edit catelog entry" is broken, so after I've scoffed down some pizza, I will try to fix that. Must have been a big pizza! :-) I've fixed this issue with data submission... Jools No, just couldn't fix the problem, as you know I need to update my PHP ver...

Re: Unable to delete photos from "My Cats"
Right, Jools is still at CatCon, and probably busy with other things than checking that he agrees with my fix, which sits in our "Source Code Repository", not actually on the site yet.
I will have a look at removing images in the breeding reports too.

Re: Just a hobby or a field of study?
I never had any thought to study into job with fish as a science. I'm a software developer - if you have a mobile phone with Android on it, you may well have code in it that I work on now (since I've only worked on it for the last year or so, and it takes about 8-10 months from our "done" ...

Re: Unable to delete photos from "My Cats"
Basically, I changed something almost exactly a year ago, that made the "delete my fish" and "delete my aquaria" images to no longer work. I have fixed it now, and those R number things are the references to the changes in the system, so that he knows what the changes are. -- Mats

Re: Unable to delete photos from "My Cats"
Seems like a change I made in R1351 broke this (by converting the first character in the "delete this image" message was made into a capital). Fix in R1473 + R1474 for the same fix in my_aquaria.

Re: Unable to delete photos from "My Cats"
It is indeed broken. Thanks for reporting, as without bug reports, we often don't know that things are broken! I will have a go at fixing now (but I expect Jools will be drinking beer, talking fish and generally enjoying himself at CatCon rather than reviewing and uploading new fixes, so it may stil...

Re: Help if possible
Definitely not a pleco, as the mouth is "facing" forward. I'm not quite sure what it is, but definitely no kind of pleco (if you did get these plecos to breed, you'd probably have hundreds if not thousands - fortunately for most people, they don't breed terribly easy).

Re: I cant find anything on my guy please help!!
It is Ancistrus sp(4) if it has black, blue or brown eyes - people call them different things depending on lighting conditions, personal opinion - typically incorrectly called L144, but there is no trace of the L144 since many years back - probably around 1995-1997 was the last record of a true L144...

Re: Sorting and searching members by geographic location?
Postal code can be used - IF we had it for all the users... (And as far as I know, this sort of information is available for most countries, and translating it to geographic location). Sorting on "Country, Region, Town" would work fine if everyone actually entered their place as "USA,...

Re: Sorting and searching members by geographic location?
That's a good idea. Shame it's not very easy to achieve... To solve it, would require quite a bit of work, and sometimes go very wrong, since there is for example no way to determine if Perth is in Australia or Scotland (unless the user actually specifies the country). And of course, whilst we encou...

Dasyloricaria???
I was asked by a friend "Is Dasyloricaria a valid genus, since there's no entry for it on PC?", and I looked it up on CoF and Fishbase, both of which seems to say it is indeed a valid genus. It is also on Norman's Loricariinae page. Any particular reason it is not here? [I tried searching ...
