Re: Recommended site for Swordtail breeders?
Mats, A lot of shop guppies tend to be rubbish. They Import them in salt to keep them better and then the shops put them in normal water and they die after about 2 weeks. If you get them from local breeders etc they are much better quality. I currently have a breeding trap with about 60 fry in it. N...

I have used maize (the hard animal-food corn) for carpfishing and they don't seem to be able to digest it. Corn (peoples food) seems to bo a little better, but still a lot of it just runs straight through. Kim You do soak and then cook the maize before use dont you? If not you should as the maize w...

Re: Which One Is Better Between Sand & Small Gravel !!!
I have had sand in my tank for nearly a year now and the cories do seem to prefer it to the gravel with no problems. Although it does look dirty all the time as the poop doesnt get buried like it does with gravel

if not rabauti then what?
I have had this cory for about 4 years or so and is the only surviver of the group. They were bought I think as rabauti but after showing today I have been told they didnt think it was. Said was nearer zygatus but again he didnt think it was that either. Any ideas folks? http://i718.photobucket.com/...

Re: Feeding Corys on vacation
I suppose asking a neighbor to come in and feed the corys wouldn't be too risky since a pellet is a pellet... :) If the corys don't go for the gel feeder, then that may be the best bet. You could always get one of those pill boxes with the days on them so they only empty that days in to the tank if...

Just seen some pandas at my local fish store for £2.99 each. Is this a good price?
