Re: Sera Food??

I find that the sera catfish chips are great with baby bns and that (around a week old or so) because it gets a bit soft quite quickly in the water.

And my catfish absolutely adore it. the corys like it too

Re: how many corys are suitable for a 60litre tank?

it's all up to personal choice from here
most corydoras are very sturdy fish. how high is the temp? i dont think it would be much of a problem if the temp was anything higher than 27'C

most fish will do well at 25'C

Re: how many corys are suitable for a 60litre tank?

In my 60 litre tank, i've kept up to 6 bronze cory's and they seemed to do fine. but it all depends on what fish and size. if you were to say to get pygmy cory's i would say around 8 is good. but the magic number i say is 6 a good starter cory is the bronze cory or the peppermint cory or even sterba...

personally i would think on temperament, it would be okay.

but because L104 are vegetarian and L333 liking a meatier diet, i wouldnt think it would be a good combo.

I think most smaller plecos (but not Oto's etc) live for about 10-20 years in captivity - in nature, they probably get predated on more often, so lifespan is shorter. -- Mats and wouldn't fish live in captivity longer because we give them a constant food source?? because in the wild fish would have...

I realy don't know about how many dams there are in other countrys but there are a pile of them in the USA and until we do something about the problem in our own back yard I think we should mind our own DAM business! heavy breathing in any pleco generally could mean low oxygen or its got gill flukes. I would try maybe adding a powerhead because i hear they live in high oxygenated waters

Re: Males showing no interest....

well maybe you could think from the males perspectives. if your in a tank and all you do is eat and have sex, you would think there is no point anymore.

so maybe you could take the males out and put them in another tank. wait a few weeks and put the males back in. it seemed to work with my bns

I would say this ref did a good match. Considering half the players we're playing dirty Van bommel i say definitely should have been red carded not hetinga. Hetinga did a good game as a defender. Puyol should have gotten carded. when Arjen Robben was on his second run, Puyol actually attempted to ta...
