Another Idea I forgot to post.. I have heard of ghost shrimps.... (The shrimp will not eat the fry as it's incapable of catching live fish. It will not eat the good eggs either so don't worry about it having a "caviar festival". The shrimp is a scavenger, not a predator.http://www.killies....

mine try to breed all the time! by this I mean about once a month.. in a community setup, I have had limited success with a razor blade to remove the eggs as is somewhat hap-hazardly advised often but a better way is to gently rub the eggs from the glass to a net and then into a hatching/ rearing ta...

My L128 adults are out all the time so is my gold nugget L018, plus my dekeyseria brachyura are always out and they do dissapear when they see me coming towards the tank but then they are back out within two minutes once i'm still - when i had a tank on floorboards i found that they feel you coming ...

just cooked but still firm (al dente) sweet potato has been a wonder food for all of my tanks also cooked peas without the thin shell-like skin.

I must be very lucky having spawnings with assassins too .. maybe they don't get a look in?.. maybe this stresses the male?.. will keep peeled for any news as it's a thought I've had myself since introducing the snails watching their carniverous selves destroying roast beef like theres no tomorrow!

I'm guessing Peckoltia vittata L 015 - Candy Striped Pleco (Xingu)-looks just like my female, she has different markings to the average candy stripe

Hi, I managed to get my juvenile L128s feeding on sweet potato just cooked al dente this lasted just under a week; I then gave jmc high protein tiny pellets which they ravaged.. they moved on to tetra pro vegetable that i'd initially tried first to no avail, they then would accept king brittish cory...
