Re: Pseudolaguvia magna Distribution.
The map shows the correct location according to the type locality text, which contains the coordinates of 28°00.377'N, 95°45.562'W (You can see for yourself if you copy that into Google maps) I'm happy to correct it, but I need to know what the actual coordinates should be... The paper is "payw...

Re: Change species, keep data - not allowing updates
My typing isn't getting any better, is it...
I will have another look at it - I think it's related to the old "lets name these URL-variables differently between phases" that we have in some of the admin pages.

Re: Change species, keep data - not allowing updates
I'm looking at this - should be relatively easy to fix, I think (I have already fixed the exact one that was in your post, but then immediately tripped over another of the same kind, so good thing I tested locally before sending a fix to Jools...)

Re: text gibberish
I think changes in R1557-1559 will fix this problem (in fact, I tested it on my local setup, and it appears to work).

Re: text gibberish
Pretty sure the problem is in the first layer of code, where you enter the data and submit it to the DB. It looks HTML-ized in the database, and I think the problem is the request_var() that "encodes" things, even tho' we don't want it. I will do some more digging today, as didn't get much...

Re: text gibberish
It has "HTML-ised" the HTML code. Which it shouldn't. Not sure why. Will have a look tomorrow, to see if there's anything obviously wrong there....

Re: Question about most kept species
R1552-1553 has an updated version that copes with "more than one species has the same number of keepers".

Re: Question about most kept species
Just found an interesting feature, however. If two species has the exact same number of keepers, only one is being displayed.... ;)
Probably need to come up with a better way to maintain a "most kept" list. Will try to do this today.

Re: Question about most kept species
And two sets of changes should make this work for family and the percentage calculation of "what percantage keeps this species" in the subfamily.
Changes are R1550 (percentage in subfamily, and some other tidy up), R1551 (same changes as in subfamily but for the family.php).

Ok, so should point out that it's (so far) only the subfamily pages that have the NEW code. The family pages don't.

Re: Question about most kept species
I have changed the code for this, and it's online, but still a bit broken, since the "percentage" number is calculated incorrectly (I wrote this "blind", as I was visiting Sweden and my local copy of PC is on my home machine, and I'd forgotten a configuration step when upgrading ...

I have now updated all the above entries. The "registered keeper" one seems to be pointing at something that has been removed, so I just wrote some words to at least give some idea what it means.

Strange hit counts?
Hypancistrus zebra has 5223 hits, where Hypancistrus sp(L411) has 543000? I thought H. zebra was one of the highest hit species on the site - what happened? Even more strange, when I finally found a link to the an old H. zebra species page (via cotm) on archive.org, it has ~200k hits in July 2013: ...

I have selected that I want metric sizes, but the page shows sizes in inches.

Re: 31: Broken AquaticRepublic and Fishbase links on CLOGs
I can link to AR locally on my test-setup (actually, I can't because it links to public AR, but if I edit the link so that it points to my local AR, then the page displays eventually - I think there's a problem loading pictures on my local AR, but that is a different problem). A field (tagname) had changed name (now url_param). Should work once Jools has uploaded change R1522.

Re: 31: Broken AquaticRepublic and Fishbase links on CLOGs
Fishbase links appear to work (note that it's not our fault that Fishbase sometimes messes up the page-request and posts a bunch of code instead of a page that looks good - complain to Fishbase on that one). AquaticRepublic links are broken on the page that it lands on - I think one of my recent fix...

Re: 31: Will species search results be displayed in real time?
Ok, fix in R1518.
As usual, fix is currently not working on the site, this will happen when Jools uploads the changes to the site [and hopefully he will check that what I've changed makes sense FIRST, meaning he can't just click a couple of buttons somewhere].

I will have a look at these later, but I think we have a few programming issues from the upgrade to deal with first.
Please be sure that these sort of things are very good to have reported, because they are difficult to spot, so we will fix them.
