I had 2 x 800lph FOB filters at on end of the tank, so little flow.
pH is natural
temp was at 29C then dropped to 26C for 10 day with a 40% waterchange of cool water to bring temp down quickly.

The males are slippery because they have a slime coat over the snout where the would be bristles grow, and the females have the roughness because it is just like the rest of their body!
