My Otos suck on everything. They're always eating. If an object sits in one place for long enough, an Oto will attach itself. I also see it with Farlowellas (always hungry), Peckoltia (fry, less than 1 month old usually) and Ancistrus.

I have an XP2 and it's been up and running for about 5 years. The input/outputs are cheesy. I replaced them with the Eheim ones that you can buy separately. I have it on a 29 gallon tank and it runs well. I found these to be a good introduction to the world of canister filters.
