Re: Mustard spot pleco (Panaqolus albomaculatus) project

Thanks jac. I think what tipped the scale and got the female in the cave is that last weekend at Catfish-Cataclysm I bought an extended-length cave, I estimate ~10" long instead of ~6" long. Long cave.jpg Prior to this weekend, I've been noticing for a while that the male liked a particul...

Re: Mustard spot pleco (Panaqolus albomaculatus) project

But it is a damn good first sign of you succeeding to spawn these! My albivermis do this a lot, trapping without results (for years). Keep at it, don't change to much, if anything. Keep doing what you are doing now, it will work :-BD

Forum lay-out home computer

Hi Jools, since your forum update the lay-out of the forum on my home computer is wrong.. It's been like this for months now. From my side I have neglected this issue for a while but I think it's about time I tried to resolve this now ;) On my phone the forum lay-out is like it has always been, like...

Re: What are the chances that this is a female L204?

It is quite common to find only males of this species, females are few. We just received 6 very large albivermis from Germany yesterday - all males. :-( They are for two of my friends, one whom has two females and wants males (they were happy), and one who has a solitary large male. He's stuck with...

Re: What are the chances that this is a female L204?

It is never good to go on pictures of fish out of the water. There is no natural forming of the fins, which serve as a clue for this species. Pectoral fin should be longer and pointed, ventral fins are shaped more straight instead of rounded (for male). Although the fish is a bit to young still and ...

Some small bugs..

Hi Jools, For some time I have these two issue's going on when I navigate through the site. First one is that I can't navigate directly to the Lnumbers. I need to detour through "families" -> "Loricariidae" and then search through the list till I find the number I'm looking for. ...
