Specimen collected from Himachal Pradesh and was jet black when collected. Which species do you think this is HH???

The differences between the Gangetic and Indus pectinopterus are very slight and not easily observable from photographs.

So would it be safer to add the Dehradun G.pectinopterus (http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... 13&t=40826) as Glyptothorax cf. pectinopterus and the Himachal type as Glyptothorax sp. Himachal to the CateLog???

Which part of Himachal Pradesh is this fish from? The Ganges or Indus drainage?

I would tentatively say Indus drainage.
