Leopard catfish with whiskers ?-?

Hi everyone,

I live in China, 3 weeks ago I bought those two brown fish after the seller told me they eat dead leaves. They hide at the bottom of the aquarium under the plants.
Since I've been finding dead fish at the bottom as well (those tiny pink fish).
Could someone please help me ID those brown fish I believe to be catfish because of the whiskers? So I can feed them properly and avoid the genocide of pink fish.

Last time I was in Shanghai (Feb. 2013) it was pretty cool outside. I would not recommend leaving them outside.
