First off i went to Tropical Waters Aquatics on the Warwick Rd in Acocks Green. Some nice Gymnocorymbus that i've never seen before & some equally nice Barillius, but on to the cats. for £9, adult £20, w/c adult £25. 4" & a couple of aluminium cat species - one looked like Chrysichthys Polli the other one one of the more regulalrly seen species. Lastly that i remember a full grown £40.
Then i sped off to MA Earlswood. I have to say the fish here really "sparkled" with health. Loads of standard community fish but not too many cats of interest. There were a few L no's Large L002, L066, L030 that i remember. A tank full of small & genuine £6.50 so good value. There was a few - nothing unusual there you might think but mixed in were at least a couple of which seem far from common.
Just a quick jaunt round the corner is Shirley Aquatics - not much to report with the exception of marine Coral Cats £7.99 or 2 for £12.50 & a tank of Syno Notatus which were actually £7.95.
there were other species,(mostly corys at all 3 shops) but i disn't take too much note - certainly nothing out of the ordinary
