Last Zebra Egg kicked out of cave (When Eating)

Post by doctorzeb »

Well the last egg has been kicked out of the cave while he was eating. I managed to suck it up with a turkey baster, and stuck it in a breeding tank.

It definately seems like it's fertile. As described in a journal , "it looks like a yolk sac with a hair on it"

Heres the link to the picture.

Don't fancy it's chances much but at least I know that their fertile.

Hopefully

Hi!

It is sort of sad that the eggs got kicked out....
But it sure look fertile from the look of it!
Don't forget to add an airstone close to the egg ...to allow a good oxygenation and water movement near the eggs!
Cheers

Hi Yann

I've got an airstone right next to it, and filter outside the cradle frovides a small amount of water movement for it.

I'm hoping that the eggs got kicked out due to the inexperience of the male, maybe next time!

I'll keep you informed of it's progress

cheers
