Feeding my group of chubbies
Hope the fish are fine!
Anyone have experience feeding a group of yellow chubby plecos?
I feed repashy mix , cat scraper wafers, zuchini and cucumbers along with some frozen bloodworms and krill couple times a week mostly for the knifes in the tank. They just don't seem enthusiastic on eating.
I'm usually siphoning left overs in the morning.
180 gallon with a 3100 Rio in corner on 2 stackable ati pond sponges.
Could it be to much current from the rio corner pump.
Water is good condition and 82 degrees I was thinking of raising to 84?

I rarely see my chubbies eat. They never come out until evening so when lights go out I offer just about the same you are feeding and siphon off what's left in the morning.Seem to be thriving but no breeding so far. Temp 82-84, pH6.4

Re: Feeding my group of chubbies
Hi captain!
Do you feed your chubbies every night?
I been doing repashy on a driftwood every 3 days along with a few wafers every night.
Finally saw a few chubbies eating the repashy the other night!

I feed most nights. Unless I forget. I wait til the discus are asleep then drop in the food.
