There is an advert in the UK for some fish for sale which includes a pair of adonis (correct ID?) which it states have bred already - Cat-e-log details are scarce - is this worth any enquiry for details if available? (link above)

Re: adonis bred?
These are the same pair that were being sold at the Crewes Hill branch of Maidenhead Aquatics as a breeding pair back in the summer, i was interested in buying them myself but unfortunately couldn't justify spending £100 on fish at the time. They seemed quite friendly towards each other in the shop sump tank and didn't have any signs of fighting that you would expect with Adonis plecs usually.

Adult size might be a problem. They grow up to a metre in length....

I was after the breeding info for cat-e-log rather than the fish themselves....Chrysichthys wrote:Adult size might be a problem. They grow up to a metre in length....
CFC - good info , sounds promising if anyone could accomodate & wanted a go at spawning
