New Member here - Hi all
Hi,
Im new here, seems like you guys have got a great lot of info that can help me care for George - my Pterygoplichthys pardalis! Well I know this is what he is now... thanks.
I got my first tank for my 15th birthday and George has out lived & outgrown 2 tanks and many other fish since!!. Rookie mistake, he was initially bought, as possibly many are, as a cleaner upper!.
Anyway hes now roughly 9 years old & I think stopped growing!! (hopefully).
Hopefully Ill get some pics up soon so you can see how gorgeous he really is.
Be great to compare stories as many of my mates gasp with shock when he decides to grace us with his presence!!! Mainly coz of his size and the fact they never have seen anything like him before.
Ready to learn new things - so lay the facts on.

Welcome to PlanetCatfish.
Most fish don't ever stop growing (until they pass away), but they generally slow down after some period of time.
