- 2 hours after the video was taken, there was a nice clutch of eggs. About 40 pieces.

Hi Jacob!

Fancy video! It’s pleasure to review that many time!!! I would like to do the same, but camera is not HD and breeding tank is just a piece of glass with few roots only, and my fish cants is not so bright …

Results of my 3,5 weeks experiments, 1st home work is here http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... =5&t=31419. 150+ live fries from first breeding of very young couple. Your male is looks very good, so strong beard! How old is he? Unfortunaly I lost second female 2 weeks ago due to water temperature play. But there is few new instead of died.

As we know there is no big difference between conditions they (181 and 183) need for life and breeding. Could you please show your babies? It is very interesting how they look now. Our fries are the same time dropped. Night of 30 Oct is breeding day. Nov 1st is first fry day.

What is water parameters you have in breeding tank?
My: pH-7,5 gH-9 kH-6, no2 no3 nh3/nh4 - 0

Thanks!
Sergey

PS. "Birds of feather flock together". From what place in Denmark are you? I'm going to Copenhagen in the end of month.

Beautiful fish Lihn! I have a setup for my own 183's and am going to be purchasing some caves. I was hoping with the use of some nice pieces of drift wood I could replicate what they would want but over the past year I have had no spawning activity that i have noticed. What size are the caves your using and would you mind sharing where you purchased them from. Also, what temp is the tank and what were you feeding them in preparation of the spawn? Thanks a million!

PS- kouen if you wold like to PM me the same info I asked Linh that would be very helpful too. Thanks.
