Haseman's Whip-tailed Catfish with eggs

Post by Valb68 »

I was amazed at how busy this young father was tending his first batch of eggs. I apologize for the shaky video with tv in the background..........but alas my family enjoys tv while I enjoy keeping fish ;)

Despite his efforts, he was a bit lost when they started to hatch. I haven't found one fry that made it. He seems dedicated ;) so maybe next time he'll have some survivors!

what happened? did they all leave the cave? in that case you can try to catch the fry somehow and put them in a breeder trap to raise yourself.
