Post by lostris »

It brown algea, on my book I found it as brown diatomaceau algea. My tank ha bean set up for 3 month, I do a water change every 2 weeks, and i have to pakitan loaches and 3 bleeding heart tetras in it. Filtration is foam, coal, and ceramics. It is also planted, quit a lot of plant i think for its size actually. Do i have to do something, or its just a phase that i have to go trough, also i noticed that it showed up on a side of d aquarium now its expanding.

You need to test the tank for ammonia, nitrite, ph and nitrate. often this type of algae is a sign of problems with water quality.
