Exotic Finds

Post by Greg Curtis »

Anyone order any fish from these people. I've read good and bad about them but they do have the largest selection of plecos I've found yet.

There have been a few discussion on exotic finds. You might want to do a search for Exotic finds and read the comments for yourself. I have talked with Blue and he seems very nice.

I had tried contacting him for about a month straight around December and never received any responses to emails and phone calls. All I could figure is he is out of business.

I ordered from him a few years back, and he was great. I don't know that status of his place now though. I would try getting him on the phone before anything.

It has been 2 years since I last bought plecos from Blue, exoticfinds.net and all my fish came in in better condition with no losses. No other source of plecos I have used has had such a perfect record. He knew of some previous problems I had had with other sources and made a few follow up phone calls to me to see how my fish did over the following 2 months. No other on-line fish vendor has ever done that with me.

It was the Peckoltia Leopard Frog L134 I bought from him that ended up breeding for me many times last year.
I haven't bought any plecos since but if I were in the market, I would hope he was still in business.

Hey ! ive been trying to contact Exotic finds scence jan 2009. about 15 times, phone calls, e-mails, etc..
is this company out of bussiness, or what ?? Does anyone know ??
Its hard to order fish from an outfit who does not exist, but a good way to loose your money..
we were prepared to place a 3,000 dolar order !!!
no contact on thier part === no bussiness
