CSG auction.

Post by MatsP »

As some of you know, I went to the Catfish Study Group Auction this Sunday. I will write a longer report tomorrow.

I just wish I had more tankspace, so I could have bought some more of the nice fish that were on offer.

Thanks to all involved, including those who delivered fish for me to transport to those who are actual recipients - it's great when a plan comes together like that.

Good to see you again Mats. Sorry you missed out Richard, unfortunately there were lots of great cats at even better prices. I know how you like your lists, so here's a sample of what was on offer (apologies for all the typos, I haven't time to check spellings) - I know I've missed lots of L numbers that went through 'cause I was too busy drooling over them at the front table:

Cory's, Scleros and Aspidoras - araguaiaensis, CW021, weitzmani, gold lazers, green lazers, red lazers, robineae, panda, barbatus, oipoquensis, CW038, sodalis, reticualtus, eques (£35/pair), loxozonus, schultzei, C97, C81, duplicareous, sterbai, schwartzi, aggasizi, zygatus, hastatus, habrosus, leopardus, loretoensis, guapore, Aspi rochai, gold aspis.

loricariids etc - red&black ancistrus (are these the same as piebald cf.cirrhosus??), A. claro (pair), L183, L182, R. lanceolata, S. panamens, Papa panaque, adonis, L66, l205, L147, L349, lots of other L's, lots of Peckoltia (at least 5 species), L199, Oto huarh..., Hypoptopoma inspect/gulare, Oto mimulus, Ancistrus cf cirrhosus, L114's (bargain),L15,
Others - Tatia intermedia, Orinocodras eiganmanii, Centromochlus romani, liosomodoras morrowi, Trachelichthys exilis, Erithistes pusillis, hybrid synos, Ituglanis sp.

If anyones got any more to add, let us know! Plus of course, loads of other boring fish and bargain dry goods.

Cheers,
Mark.

Wow!
I had no idea the auction would be that good.
Before now I had only been to one fish auction... it creaked.

When is the next one?

Sometime in March is the next one - I think it's two weeks before the convention, so I'm not going to the auction... :(
