Little Panaque soon to be TITAN - progress
Hi all, the little L203 is making great progress even after a few weeks
Patterns can now be seen on its face and fins, it body is getting hairier and its tail extensions are lengthening and expanding. It poos half its body weight every day and there is dark sawdust all over, great teeth
The 1st photo is the first day I homed it
The 2nd photo is of it 10 days later
I have imaginatively named it Titan
I will keep updating the progress every now and then

Anything I put in to feed, its all gone by the morning. I have been using little pieces of courgette, cucumber, sweet potato, home made food and the odd prawn. I have kept the temp around 30oC with a little salt added to the water, maximum filtration and aeration and 25% water change and vacuum every few days. At the beginning I put a few drops of methylene blue for any infections just in case and tiny sprinkle of magnesium sulphate (epsom salts). Its been about 3 weeks now and I am just using treated tap water. He seems to be doing great, always out and about. I will try and take another picture soon when his markings are even more prominentandywoolloo wrote:yes, I agree! his fins look remarkably better!! is he eating well?
