It sounds like you have a diatom bloom. Tanks go through that when they are first establishing a balance. If your tank has only been up a couple months, then don't panic, it will go away on its own in a few weeks usually. Then the green algae that the bristlenose loves to munch on will start to appear.

5 pictus in a 29 gallon tank.... That sure sounds busy :)

Give it some time. The bristlenose is trying to recover from the stress of the move and should begin eating again once it does.
You can try to feed it algae wafers (the pictus will probably eat the wafers if the brsitlenose doesn't), but I'd wait first.

i just put 2 small bushey nose in my tank, saturday and i haven't seen them since? i hope "lord apophis",my 3" Chocky hasn't struck again?!?!? :? i found the remains of a gold nugget in the same tank,; i bought the busheynose to replace them, but apophis loves live bait!!! :twisted: :twisted:
