The water parameters
Temp - 28DC
Hardness - 150-160PPM
Havent measured the other parameters

There are other Ancistrus in the aquarium as well, which are perfectly fine.... There are only some small Apistos housed with them and no other fish...

Look like wounds to me. Do you have another (larger) male in the tank? They look like wounds from a fight over a choice cave.

This guy is the only male in the tank, have two adult females and a juvinile besides him...

Will the wounds heal on their own? or can I add something that will spur the healing process??

Do you have a heater in the tank? The other possibility is heater burns.

Dont have any heater, have been keeping this guy since two years now and this is the first time that I have seen such wounds on him. Is it possible that the two adult females would have ganged up on him??
I am really worried for him, should I keep him in a seperate tank till he recovers?

looks like open sores to me, if he's scraping on rocks or gravel. for stuff like that i use e.m. erythromycin which is an antibacterial treatment. good luck.
