FRP racking

Looking for a UK supplier for FRP racking, we're redoing the research room at work and want to avoid using metal if at all possible.

http://www.weber-kunststofftechnik.de/en/ is a good, big one (even fits into "tank talk"), but in Germany
If you need to put alot of weight on it, then steel is often build inside
I know some more manufacturer in this field but most of them swiss or german, will have a look
Why do you like to avoid metal?

They http://www.ripcoltd.co.uk/interesting-projects have a nice plastic lab table pictured, not FRP, but they have FRP products too, speak with them.

Make a google search for "chemical plastic cabinet" (result depends from the country, to less UK from here) cheaper way for storage

Hi, no, we're after simple racking/shelving for putting our off-show aquaria on. If you look here http://tenji.com/projects/project.aspx?ID=20 and find the images of the off-show areas, you'll see some images of dark grey racking, it's that kind of thing we're after, maybe not quite so heavy duty, that looks like serious kit.

Framework: Steel painted with
- "liquid plastic" (Flüssigkunststoff)or
- "enarmeler lacquer" ("Emailelack") or
- enarmeler (Emaile)

Shelf: FRP grating - normaly worksafty floor, sometimes used as very strong shelf, to find at industral safty stores or plastic dealer/processors(for example http://www.ripcoltd.co.uk/ /maybe you have to ask, not always ready to go)

That racking on the Tenji site is actually all FRP, I know it looks like coated steel but I've spoken with the manufacturers to confirm, cool stuff, can be drilled and bolted to suit.
Some of our suspended flooring here behind the display aquaria is FRP grating, but we can't find anyone who can build us a tank stack from the stuff! I'll look closer at that Rotherham site, thanks.

Isn`t that on the Tenji site more then a bit overbild?
I mean a chair out of 20mm Acrylic is shown here http://www.theplasticpeople.co.uk/acryl ... p-313.html
Structurally horizontal and vertical forces are calculated differently. Maybe FRP is horizontal needed, but vertical PP build the right way could be enough.
