hey all i just got an african bumblebee catfish

:ohwell: i need to know what tankmates to pick for my bumblebee cat and what kind of catfish will go well with it and i would like to get another cat( i was wondering if it would get together witha common bannertail ) :twisted:

By African bumblebee cat, I suppose you mean Microsynodontis? They do best with each other or other small-sized fish. A bannertail might work, but remember that they are extremely aggressive to conspecifics, so it's a good idea to only put one in the tank.

We have 15 in a tank and they get along famously. Large numbers help spread the aggression. Course, this is assuming that catfishdragon is talking about Olyra...
