having a discussion with some friends. i have come across some conflicting opinions regarding the L262 and the L136. are these two seperate plecos or are they one in the same? if they are indeed two sperate plecos, can someone explain the the differences between them. thank u

L136 is from the Rio Negro, L262 is from the Tapajos.

ok thanx, so other than collection point in the amazon there are no other differences?

I don't believe they have been looked at close enough genetically to make that determination. Their is considerable variation amongst the L136 as it is that needs to be sorted without adding L262 to the mix. Until described I would keep everything separate.
