Tatia strigata eggs
I collected some 45 T. strigata eggs two nights ago. I watched the female "laying" her eggs. Pretty interesting to witness that for the first time.
The eggs are now separated in a small container and I allready see some movement in them:

Good job!
You may also want to give the (SL) length of the parents, so the information on the data sheet can be changed. 3 centimetres and a bit is apparently incorrect.

Congrats! That is a large amount of eggs. How large are the parent fish? Mine are around 5-6cm if I had to guess.

Re: Tatia strigata eggs
The largest male is 9,5 cm.
What strikes me is the pattern with the stripes is slowly fading away. A bit similar to what happened with the white dots on Tatia intermedia.
I hope I can provide the young with enough and propper food once they are free swimming.
I have an infusionculture running, microworms in their millions and dry artemiapowder coming up.

Re: Tatia strigata eggs
After a week there are about 10 left.
A lot of youngsters just didn't make it for one reason or another.
The remaining ones are getting darker and start to swim free. I provide them with paramecium and microwurms.
Hope they'll make it...
