Lol. I have often thought about putting together a fake presentation about cichlid breeding. This would be a perfect opening slide.

If only it was true

Quite a lot of cichlids are rather easy to breed, but a few are rather hard to keep

Tetras are, generally speaking, easy to keep, but hard to breed. Cichlids are easy to breed, but some are hard to keep alife - due to agression, rheofilic behaviour or other reasons. Fish which are hard to keep alive, are also hard to breed, obviously

The thing is, cichlids don't migrate (although, I'm not certain about Cichla) but they remain in the breeding habitat. That is, they don'ty tolerate much for survival.

Tetras migrate, and therefore - anywater that is wet is generally good enough to stay alife. But for breeding, thay suddenly start demanding things - and some species haver never been bred

Some catfish are easy, some hard - Most Loricards don't migrate and are, just like cichlids, easy to breed, once the keeping is done. Others might migrate, or anyway, they just don't breed in captivity. Which is a pity, I would have loved to breed my Platydoras once - but no luck for me.

Despite reading various definitions and explanations and looking at every post in this thread, I still do not understand what a meme is. The best I can come up with is it is anything that used to be a fad, a craze or a joke that move around rapidly before the digital age is now called a meme because it spreads on the net.

I used to work in Wall Street. During the period I was waiting for my license I was assigned to work on the over-the-counter desk. this was a network of trades buying and selling stocks. The trades took under 10 seconds to complete and the rest of the phone conversation was to share the day;s hottest jokes, it took about 15 minutes for such jokes to spread out across the country. I guess I was helping create memes before they even existed?

I would post a fish meme if i could just figure it out. Would this qualify?
