OK, when and who made the bid? I will look into it - is it possible the bid was retracted or were there lots of bids?

The bid was placed probably Friday and I beleive it was the same person that asked the public question about if they were wilds.

Got to the bottom of it. After making a large bid which took the total up to $127, the bidder retracted their bid, becuase I have small increment amounts (i.e. the amount the auction goes up by on eveyr bid) the system did not retract the bid correctly.

I am installing a fix for this tomorrow, but we know we have one issue and that it is caused by bid retraction.

I have bid on that auction three times now. It keeps resetting and not tracking that I had a bid at all. I did bid again, though.

Why are retractions permitted?

I have yet to apply the database fix as I'm having trouble downloading it from the support site.

Retractions were permitted because I'm afflicted with sometimes misplaced optimism in all peoples intentions. It's now switched off which, I guess, is how it should be if everyone is to have a easier life.

The auction is up and running again, there's an error message on the page due to it not being a "buy it now!" auction, I will fix that to.

Ok. I'm going to set up another auction for a gold trim Panaque. What is the bid retraction option? Anyone can retract a bid? Seems like it could cause a lot of trouble. Is the function perminatly off or is it still available?
