Etymology The generic name is a combination of the greek, rhinos = nose, nostril and lekos = plate, in reference to presence of the lateronasal plate.
Sexing Males with conspicuous urogenital papillae immediately posterior to anus, and with a dorsal expanded flap of skin in all pelvic-fin rays.
Size Smallest 36mm, largest 43mm, average 38mm, most commonly 38mm. All SL.
