Down Breeding
Behaviour Noted that of the males and female I have males stake out and claim the tubes, as time goes on generally towards the evenings a female will attempt to enter the tube, at first they are ejected but they hang about the top or front of the tube and then I see them both inside the tube, spawning generally occurs within a day or so.
Segregation I have tried to remove the eggs and hatch them with mixed results, 10% survive; I have tried to remove the tube and male with the male eating all of the eggs; (failure) I also left the eggs for the male to hatch. Also with mixed results. At this point from 4 spawns I have a bout 20 young at various stages. Of those that survived hatching; I have also learned a lesson on cleaning up and feeding enough food. These are a lot harder to feed than cory fry. They need constant food dropped onto them or they seem to starve.

Fry and juvenile feeding Soaking Sea baby flake and mixing that with micro worms and decapsulated brine shrimp. Ground up Pellets, Repashy Meat lovers(Cooked)and ground up as well as Kapata leaves, Oak leaves and Small Squash chunks in a pickle fork. Feeding mornings before work and as soon as I am home 8 hours later, which is not enough as I have lost some fry which I believe starved. Water changes are done daily with water from parent tank.
