| Overview | The first spawn was on Sunday 2nd of July 2017. The breeding group consisted of 19 males and 11 females. The smallest male was at least 50mm SL and the smallest female was at least 55mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 24 months old. The individuals were obtained from 3 different shops. |

| Behaviour | Had been trying for several weeks to trigger. Lots of sparring with the males. 75ltr Water change with pure RO followed by 2 feedings of live Tubifex and that evening a spawn of 8 eggs Placed singularly on glass, fern and wood. 6 eggs removed only one hatched. |
