Overview The first spawn was on Thursday 14th of June 2018. The breeding group consisted of 1 male and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 44mm SL and the smallest female was at least 63mm SL. The individuals were obtained from LFS.

Down Breeding
Behaviour Moved female along with female false juli's to breeding tank. Conditioned for one week on frozen mix of bloodworms, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and beef heart daily. Second meal of sinking shrimp pellets and bottom feeder bug bites daily. Moved the male in, and within one day first spawning happened. Novice, most eggs were destroyed trying to move them. Two live fry. Two weeks later on May 16th, 137 eggs collected from sides of tank, heater, and plants. 80% fertile, unsure of total number of live fry at this point, but a lot!
