Overview | The first spawn was on Wednesday 4th of September 2019. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 40mm SL and the smallest female was at least 60mm SL. The individuals were obtained from WetSpot. |

Breeding |
Behaviour | 1 female and 2 males were moved from the larger group in a 120 gallon tank to a 10 gallon tank for breeding. They spawned at night a few days later, and again 1 week later. Spawning was not observed.
Eggs were laid in the mop, moss, sand, and on the exposed glass on the bottom. Eggs are very white, and thought to be infertile, but had good hatch rate! |

Segregation | The mop was removed to a Marina breeder box for hatching. Eggs left in the tank were not eaten by the parents, but no fry were observed in the tank. |
