Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Monday 15th of June 2020. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 3 females. The smallest male was at least 120mm SL and the smallest female was at least 110mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 24 months old. The individuals were obtained from Private breeders.

Down Breeding
Behaviour No spawning observed. Came home to find a clutch of eggs had been kicked from the cave (probably due to males fighting? as there are multiple males in the tank) immediately removed infertile eggs (7 eggs total removed) and placed in a Ziss egg tumbler (medium-high flow) Approximately 60+ eggs found.
Eggs There were 60 yellow eggs laid which were 3.0mm in diameter.

Fry and juvenile feeding Week 1- Currently offering Indian almond leaves, guava leaves and small twigs to rasp on. I have started to add a small piece of zucchini or Repashy blend each night. week 2 - Have been adding fluval bug bites flake food every other day.
