Overview The first spawn was on Saturday 18th of September 2021. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 3 females. Additionally, there were 5 unknown individuals present. The smallest male was at least 78mm SL and the smallest female was at least 87mm SL. The individuals were obtained from Imports, presumably wild caught.

Down Breeding
Behaviour Cave spawner. Young were about 2 days old when discovered.
Eggs There were 24 eggs laid which were 0.0mm in diameter.
Segregation Young reared in a homemade floating rearing box then transferred to a 40 litre tank at 2 months old.

Fry and juvenile feeding Initially they were fed on NovoFect and later with smaller amounts of NovoPleco. The rearing box contained small pieces of bogwood. From about 2 months old they were also fed Repashy Morning Wood
