Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Sunday 21st of November 2021. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 3 females. The smallest male was at least 35mm SL and the smallest female was at least 40mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 72 months old. The individuals were obtained from Pier - Wild.

1.Bloodworm (frozen) occasionally

pH 6.80 to 7.20
Conductivity 100µs to 200µs
Temperature 25.0°C to 27.0°C
Current Medium(air)
Other Water Params Small powerhead in addition to air filtration.
Down Aquarium
Dimensions The aquarium dimensions were 914mm x 457mm x 305mm (36" x 18" x 12") all Length x Width x Height.
Furniture Piles of slate and caves, sand substrate.
Filtration Mattenfilter and additional cube sponge filter.
Lighting Basic LED strip, on for ~8 hours per day
Heating In fish room which stays between 24 and 30c without any direct heating year round.
Down Breeding
Behaviour Usual Cory spawning behaviour, I noticed a couple females getting larger for a few months but didn't think they would spawn without a mop. Eggs laid in corners on glass, but mostly on the foam of the mattenfilter.
Eggs There were 60 off white eggs laid which were 1.5mm in diameter.

Juvenile sizes 1 month: 0mm
3 months: 0mm
