Down Breeding
Behaviour We were away for the first half of October, the fish had no food or fresh water in this period. When we got home I changed 70% water (a bit colder water) and fed them a lot. I changed the water 2-3 more times before they start mating 29/10. One male changed color during the spawn, his eye mask and dorsal fin faded while the body was more redish. Typical cory T-position. I found about 35 eggs, all gathered in a cluster on a plant leaf.
Eggs There were 35 clear eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter.
Time to hatch 4 days
Number: 5
Free swimming: 4 days
Segregation The eggs were moved to separate hatching tank, most of them were unfortunately unfertilised so only five hatched as they should.
