| Overview | The first spawn was on Wednesday 28th of November 2012. The breeding group consisted of 1 male and 2 females. The smallest male was at least 38mm SL and the smallest female was at least 33mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 10 months old. The individuals were obtained from Wild Import. | ||||||

| Behaviour | Females became heavily gravid and as I had an amazon sword with 2 over lapping leaves the 2 females and my male spawned on the bottom leaf. With the over leaf over lapping they kind of made a natural cave and the male sat fanning to eggs in this "cave" for around about 3 days before I noticed there was nothing there so assumed my cherry barbs had eaten them. I did notice him getting very aggressive whilst fanning and he would even chase my Angelfish away. | ||||||
