Overview The first spawn was on Wednesday 24th of June 2015. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 20mm SL and the smallest female was at least 25mm SL. The individuals were obtained from Kesgrave Aquatics.

Down Breeding
Behaviour Lack of interesting in feeding AM; following by cleaning of egg sites by female and then chase by males - eggs laid in 2-3 locations - in moss and plants at bottom, on leaves of plants near surface. Female seen with eggs held between pelvic fins.
Eggs There were 12 white eggs laid which were 3.0mm in diameter.
