9 | Ichthyovenator (p: 2) since 2023-05-16 to 2025-05-01, that's 1 years, 11 months; who writes, "Now can finally say I have this fish lol. Not as skittish as you might think, I would say the dourada catfish is more skittish. Grows decently fast at around 0.25 ins per feeding (grows that much after every meal.). Eats everyday and has a very fast metabolism. Not aggressive but has snapped at some of the other open-water dwellers in there. Completely ignores bottom dwelling fish and ignores one s that live at the very surface. Generally peaceful. I would say can go well with other pimelodids, doradids, large cyprinids or characins, top dwelling fish like aros, and could live with anything that’s similarly sized. Has a small mouth compared to other catfish. Will be able to go into the 5000 gallon very soon with its growth rate." |
